Pino Daniele, tonight on TV the concert-tribute: the ladder
Regarded last Thursday, the concert-tribute to Pino Daniele with over twenty protagonists of Italian music called to pay homage to the Neapolitan singer-songwriter in the tenth anniversary of his disappearance is aired tonight on Rai1. Organized in Piazza del Plebiscito, the same that in September 1981 hosted the concert with which the Latin mascalzone entered the circle of the great Italian music by performing in front of over 200 thousand spectators at the height of the album tour “Vai Mo ‘”, the show sees Carlo Conti and Fiorella Mannoia conducting. The Roman singer also held the role of artistic director of the event: “We frequented, we wanted to do it well, I carry it inside the heart. I contacted musicians, singers. I have never heard, as in this case, people who get excited and who feel the responsibility of what he goes to do”, had said on the eve. In the lineup, songs like “Yes I know my way”, “Sara”, “Anna will come”, “When”, “Napule is”, reinterpreted by – among others – Francesco De Gregori, Giorgia, Elisa, Emma, Giuliano Sangiorgi, the same Mannoia and many others.
