Pino Daniele, “Musicante 40th anniversary album” is coming soon
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the publication of “Musician” Of Pino Danielecomes out on December 13th “40th musician anniversary album”: digitally, double CD and double limited edition vinyl. The artistic production was curated by Fabrizio White for the Pino Daniele Ets Foundation, chaired by Alessandro Daniele.
Curated by the Pino Daniele Foundation and produced by Warner Music Italy, “Musicante 40th anniversary album” includes the 1984 album remastered by Pino “Pinaxa” Pischetola And “Studio Session”that is, the unreleased recording sessions of each song recorded live between January and September 1984 at Bagaria Studios in Formia (Latina).
“Studio Session” represents a document that offers an in-depth look at the working method of Pino Daniele and on musical research, allowing those who listen to it to take a journey into the heart of the creative process and to learn the care and precision that the artist had in the construction and choice of the arrangements of the rhythmic base, on which the voices were then added , the guitar solos and the other instruments, thus appreciating the work of finding the perfect balance between bass, drums, piano and guitar, the elements at the basis of his Mediterranean sound.
The CD version includes the tracks contained in “Musician” (disc 1), “Studio Session” (disc 2) and a booklet enriched with unpublished photos. The limited edition box, in addition to the vinyl of the original album and the vinyl of “Studio Session”also contains a 24-page booklet with unpublished photos, lyrics and listening guide and 4 inserts with the transcriptions for guitar, bass, drums and piano of 3 songs. These volumes are part of a project by the Pino Daniele Foundation aimed at cataloging and preserving the artist’s entire work, with a particular focus on the educational and training aspect.
