The song sequence has been reworked by Steven Wilson using sound effects taken from the original multitracks, to create a seamless listening experience in classic Floydian style.

In total there are six monumental albums from which this collection draws: “Meddle” from 1971, “Obscured by Clouds” from 1972, “The Dark Side of the Moon” from 1973, “Wish You Were Here” from 1975, “Animals” from 1977 and “The Wall” from 1979.
“8-Tracks” represents an artistic corpus which shows Pink Floyd moving beyond the first phase of Syd Barrett-era psychedelic pop and subsequent experimental production.
The collection will be available on vinyl, CD and digital.
