Paul McCartney announces ‘Wings: The Story of a band on the run’

Paul McCartney has announced the details of a new book entitled ‘Wings: The story of a band on the run’. The new book, whose release is scheduled for November 4th, wants to reconstruct the history of Wingsthe band founded by Paul, together with his wife Linda and Denny Laine In 1971, after the dissolution of the Beatles.

As reported by the NME, a press release describes the volume as “an overwhelming and stereophonic celebration of the songs, collaborations and performances that would have shaped the soundtrack of the late twentieth century”. The book is the result of many hours of interviews with
