Ozzy Osbourne’s newborn granddaughter is called… Ozzy

Jack Osbourne, the only son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, paid tribute to his late father by naming his newborn daughter after him.

Jack, 40, announced the birth of Ozzy Matilda Osbourne on social media with his wife Aree, who he married in 2023. Newborn Ozzy was photographed next to a bat-shaped soft toy – another reference to her father, who bit off the head of a real bat during a concert in 1982, believing it to be rubber.

Jack and Kelly first rose to fame on the reality show “The Osbournes,” a TV series that followed their dysfunctional but loving family dynamic.

Kelly then launched her own music career, scoring three UK Top 10 singles, including a No. 1 duet with her father, a cover of the Black Sabbath ballad “Changes”.

Jack continued to work in reality television, hosting five seasons of the outdoor adventure show “Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie” and appearing with his father on three seasons of the travel show “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour.” In 2011 he also produced a documentary about his father entitled “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne”.
