Ozzy Osbourne: this is where she was buried
In his 2010 autobiography “I Am Ozzy” the Prince of Darkness had written: “I said to Sharon: ‘Don’t cream or things of that kind’. I want to be buried in a beautiful garden somewhere with a tree planted above my head”. Ozzy Osbourne’s wishes were respected: the Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away on 22 July at the age of 76, was buried near a lake in his villa in Buckinghamshire, in England, at the end of the private rite that took place yesterday after the last farewell of the city of Birmingham.
At the private rite, as reported by the overseas tabloids, there were many friends and colleagues from Rockstar: from Elton John to the members of the Black Sabbath, passing through the Metallica, Zakk Wylde, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and the Corey Taylor Slipknot singer.
Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, suspicions continue to wind on the end of the king of Heavy Metal, who passed away only seventeen days from the farewell concert on the scenes of last July 5 at the Villa Park in Birmingham. Some clues prompted fans to suppose that Ozzy, to whom in 2019 a tumor had been diagnosed with a vertebra and that in 2020 he had revealed that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease, chose the “sweet death”. In 2023 in an interview granted to Rolling Stone the singer said: “I like the idea that if you have a terminal disease, you can go to a place in Switzerland and do things quickly. I saw my father die of cancer”. The last autobiography of Rocker will arrive in the bookstore on 7 October, emblematically entitled “Last Rites”, “The latest rites”.
