Olivia Rodrigo has announced her third studio album, “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”, out June 12th worldwide. The album was recorded together with producer Daniel Nigro, with whom the artist had already collaborated on the previous works “SOUR” and “GUTS”, both certified also in Italy. To preview the project, Rodrigo created a visual teaser in Los Angeles: a wall initially painted purple, then turned pink in the space of a few days. A change that has fueled fan speculation about the new album.

With over 36 million copies sold globally, Olivia Rodrigo has established herself as one of the most relevant voices in contemporary pop. In her career she has received 14 nominations for the GRAMMY Awards, winning, among others, the awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance. The success also generated a live impact: after the first sold-out world tour, in 2024 he took out the “GUTS World Tour”, with over 100 sold-out dates in more than 20 countries. “SOUR,” his debut album, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and set several records, including the longest stay in the top 10 for a debut in the 21st century, as well as record-breaking streaming results on Spotify.
