Oasis may not melt again, after the reunion
The Oasis may no longer be dissolved, after the reunion tour that will start in less than a month, on July 4, from the Cardiff’s mainty stadium. This, at least, is what wishes half the brand-Oasis, Liam Gallagher, in recent weeks engaged in the rehearsal room in London together with his brother Noel, with whom he has returned to play sixteen years after that sensational quarrel in the backstage of the rock en seine in Paris who in the summer of 2009 brown the word “fine” to the history of the Britpop icon group, and to the other members of the reunion.
Always very active on X – ex Twitter – in the last hours the smallest of the Gallagher brothers has responded to some fans who asked him to tell him the first sensations on the reunion with his brother directly from the rehearsal room. Liam replied as follows:
You know what it means, it is spiritual, but I cannot help but think of all those wasted years, which wasted precious time.
And when someone asked him if there would be “something better than the return of the Oasis”, he relaunched:
Yes, stay together.
Soon to say if it is actually like that. The tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland will take place from 4 to 17 August, then Noel and Liam – who will be accompanied by Andy Bell (bass), Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and Gem Archar (guitars), in addition to the shifts Joey Waronker (drums) and Christian Madden (keyboards) – between August and September they will perform in Canada, USA and Mexico, before flying in October, in Asia and Oceania and November in South America. The last date currently on the calendar is the one scheduled for November 23 at the Morumbis Autodio in San Paolo, in Brazil.
