Oasis: here is the official live version of “Wonderwall”
The Oasis continue to share the official live recordings of the tour of their reunion (here the Rockol mixtape dedicated to the return of the most loved band of Britpop). And this time it’s up to one of their great classic: “Wonderwall“. The Gallagher brothers published the recording of the live version of the hit dated 1995 performed last August 16 at the Croke Park in Dublinin Ireland, in front of over 80 thousand fans in ecstasy. You can listen to it just below:
With the live version of “Wonderwall” continues to compose the puzzle that seems to suggest that the Oasis are close to publishing theLive album of their Reunion Record Tour. The live recording of “Wonderwall” comes after those of “Bringing it on down”, “Little by Little”, “Slide Away” and “Cigarettes & Alcohol”.
At the departure of the tour, the training manager, Alec McKinlay, as already reported by Rockol, frozen the hopes of those who, in addition to reviewing the Gallagher brothers together, hoped for new publications: “There are no plans for new music. This tour is the last gift for fans, not the beginning of a new era”. Words that seemed to definitively close the doors to a new studio album, But that did not exclude a celebratory live project at all.
The production of live songs is impeccable: A sign that multi-traccia recordings are in progress and that a wider project could be in the development phase. The professional quality of the mix and the close publication of the two songs strengthen the idea of a celebratory live albumdesigned to immortalize the tour and seal the historic reunion between Liam and Noel Gallagher.
