Oasis: a new album on the way? According to Liam, yes
In the last few months Liam Gallagher he planted clues with which he implied that Oasis wanted to record a new album.
With the last statement arrived, the frontmen declared that he was fascinated, amazed by the music that his brother Noel Gallagher wrote for a potential new Oasis album.
The band has not yet officially confirmed the release of a new album, but in recent months Liam has tweeted several times about a new LP.
In September, when a fan asked “Is it true that Oasis are going to have a new album?”, Liam replied: “Yes, it’s finished already.”
Another response came to a tweet asking if a new album was “in the air,” to which he replied: “It’s in the bag, man, fuck the air.”
Now, when a fan dryly asked him what Liam thought of the new songs Noel wrote for Oasis, he replied: “I’m stunned.”
Although Liam is known for his “lightness” especially on X and his tweets are well below any official confirmation, it must be said that he has often leaked hints of news before they become public knowledge.
For example, he tweeted about the photoshoot he was doing with Noel before the comeback announcement, and hinted that the band would be playing some big shows in Manchester before everything was made official. The photos arrived and the concerts too.
Additionally, he initially talked about the band’s reunion and 2025 UK and Ireland tour dates, before both were officially confirmed. The reunion has arrived.
More recently, he hinted that both Richard Ashcroft and the Cast could potentially support Oasis, and again the two speculations have become official.
Following the return announcement, a comment from April also resurfaced, suggesting that Oasis would record a new album in November and that Noe had publicly announced that he was abandoning an acoustic album earlier this year in favor of an more “challenging rock” album.
Meanwhile, Oasis have confirmed that they will reveal details of the dates of their 2025 South American reunion tour tomorrow 5 November.
