The Oasis keyboardist talks about the relationship between Noel and Liam

Noel Gallagher hasn’t seen the Oasis documentary

(not really) secondary effects when you have one of the most anticipated reunions ever, that of Oasis: Noel and Liam Gallagher appeared in the ranking of the richest in the United Kingdom, the Rich List published by the Sunday Times, which estimates their total assets at around 375 million pounds. However, Noel doesn’t feel rich: “This morning I was in bed thinking that maybe I should call my accountant, because I know for a fact that I don’t have that much money,” he said in an interview with BBC 5.

Noel also talked about the band’s reunion documentary, scheduled for September 11 on Disney+, produced by “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. Noel is directly involved in the making of the film, particularly on the audio front: “I’m mixing the sound right now in my studio” – but says he hasn’t seen the finished film yet: “We haven’t seen it yet. They’re still doing the finishing touches, I think they want to get it to a certain point before showing it to me and Liam.”

The musician explained that the documentary is described by those who have already seen it as “a rather emotional journey”, also very focused on the relationship with the fans. “I can’t wait to watch it, also because I remember little about the tour: it was a real whirlwind.”

After the return tour in 2025, which is estimated to have grossed over £400 million, the film will arrive in theaters for a limited distribution, including in IMAX, before landing on platforms.
