Nine Inch Nails: new album (with Boys Noize) on April 17th
Nine Inch Nails have announced a collaborative album with Boys Noize, pseudonym of Alexander Ridha, the German DJ with whom Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have already collaborated in 2024 for “Challengers (Mixed)” and last year for the soundtrack of “Tron: Ares”. The album will arrive on April 17 under the name Nine Inch Noize, coinciding with Nine Inch Nails’ performance with Boys Noize at Coachella. The official announcement came after a spoiler from a series of billboards that appeared along the route to Indio, California, where Coachella takes place.
The project comes six years after the diptych “Ghosts V: Together” and “Ghosts VI: Locusts”.
On May 6, meanwhile, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will try to steal the statuette for “Best Original Song” from Checco Zalone at the David Di Donatello awards – the most important awards in Italian cinema. Reznor and Ross are nominated with “Vaster than empires”, the song they composed for the soundtrack of “Queer” by Luca Guadagnino, performed together with Caetano Veloso. Zalone, real name Luca Medici, is nominated instead with “La prostate enflamada”, one of the songs from his latest film “Buen Camino”, which with 76.5 million euros in takings has become the most watched film ever at the cinema in Italy.
