“Yes, I’m naked but you can’t see anything,” Nina Zilli wrote on social media after posting some nude photos in the pool. A moment of relaxation while waiting for the summer tour to start again on August 2nd in Bari. There were many comments from fans who went crazy over the published snapshots. In an interview with Corriere della Sera published in October, the voice from Piacenza said: “Nudity as an end in itself leads to nothing.” After urging her colleagues to “release beautiful music and nothing else,” she added: “There are those who undress on social media just to get people talking about them: there are many of them, it’s a free choice. I wouldn’t do it because it seems like a very tiring life.”

She explained that she was not against posing naked as a matter of principle, she had already undressed in the video for the song “Sola”: “Anyway, you can’t see anything, just bits of skin. And it was functional to express the concept of the song”. About her latest song, released last year and titled “Innamorata (F____U!)”, she said: “The song has all those super Motown references that I like, that have characterized my music since I started. There is all the vintage part that represents me, in the arrangements, in the way of writing. This is a very fun piece that reminds me of the atmospheres of the ’60s, but translated into modernity. Furthermore, you can also feel the influence of urban, of Danti’s productions”.
