Nessun Dorma: A Benefit Concert for Palestine

It will be held at the Circolo Magnolia in Milan next September 9thNobody Sleeps”, a Charity concert to raise funds for the humanitarian emergency in Palestine.

The event (already sold out in a few hours) will bring together on the same stage artists of different genres and backgrounds with a single goal: to offer medical and humanitarian support to Palestinian population.

The proceeds from the ticket office, the bar and restaurant, the market and of the online collection will be donated in equal parts (net of out-of-pocket expenses) to Doctors Without Borders, Medical Aid for Palestinians and Palestinian Red Crescent Society – three organizations providing medical and healthcare assistance in Gaza.

“Nessun Dorma” will be a marathon eventwith numerous guests and a series of concerts lasting 10-15 minutes each, without interruptions, with a line up heterogeneous. From Chadia Rodriguez to Coezfrom Cosmos with his dj set at Toothfrom Fingerintheplague to Francesca Michielinit’s still Laila Al Habash, Mannarino, The Ministersthe dj set People, Queen of Sheba, Vasco Brondi, Venus And Willie Peyote.

In the spaces of the Circolo Magnolia there will also be stalls of artists, illustrators, photographers and graphic designers who will sell their works and contribute to the charity collection, while the team of Cooks but good will develop an ad-hoc menu whose proceeds will be added to the amount donated.

The internationally renowned illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli conceived the project’s image, while the graphics were entrusted to WetStudio.

The organizers of the concert, who have announced that they are already working on replicate the initiative in other Italian citiesthey stated:

For months we have been watching atrocious images and videos from the other side of the Mediterranean on our smartphones, with a sense of anger and impotence at not being able to stop this barbarity. We have often thought about what our contribution as cultural promoters could be, and the solution seemed very easy and immediate: organize a day of music in charity for Gaza and Palestine. We sincerely thank the artists who, with a spirit of collaboration and humanity, have joined Nessun Dorma pro bono, as well as all the volunteers who are working from now to repeat the event in other cities.
