Myles Smith: His “Stargazing” Soars Higher and Higher

Reading the charts provided by Radiomonitor Airplay, both at Italian and European level, in the top ten (respectively at position number 7 and number 5) appears “Stargazing” by Myles Smith. Not only that: the piece is fifteenth in the Shazam search ranking and twenty-fifth in the Earone one. Originally from Luton, Myles Smith has carved out a space for himself in the music industry with his unique blend of folk, Americana and pop influences. A guitarist since the age of nine, Myles has garnered acclaim for his DIY approach and genuine connection with his audience. The artist released the single “Stargazing” last May: today it has almost 300 million streams on Spotify alone.

“Stargazing” follows the singer-songwriter’s good success with his debut album “You Promised A Lifetime” which also contains the previous single “Solo”, which has surpassed 100 million streams. “I like the idea that the person we fall in love with has been there our whole life,” Myles Smith said. The idea for ‘Stargazing’ was born in Los Angeles earlier this year and it’s been amazing to see the journey the song is taking and the reactions from the public.”. 2024 has already been a pivotal year for Myles: recently announced as Apple’s Up Next Artist and Deezer’s Next Artist, he has recorded sold out his first headliner tour in the UK, Europe and North America. In addition to his global tour, Myles has been chosen as opening act for Tom Odell at Alexandra Palace. Next year it will also stop in Italy: it is expected on March 22, 2025 at Santeria Toscana 31 in Milan.
