Music Day Rome: everything ready for the event
Music Day Rome – Rome Record Fair has arrived at 41st edition and will take place (free entry) Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024 from 10.00 to 19.00 at the Hotel Mercure Roma West.
The new edition of Music Day Rome happens in coincidence with the Record Store Daythe world day dedicated to record shops and lovers of good old vinyl, which has always been the main focus of the MDR.
All the new recordings that will be released specifically on Saturday 20 April will therefore be available at the stands of the exhibitors present together with thousands of other vinyl records, CDs, books, posters, objects and memorabilia.
But the intent of Music Day Rome has always been to contribute to the growth of that culture which naturally develops together with everyone's musical interests. Completely consequent to this approach is the presence among the guests of the event, not only of musicians, producers, arrangers, but also of writers, directors, actors, protagonists of fields that often intersect and collaborate.
In this edition among others will be present, Piotta, Tullio De Piscopo, Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, Giampiero Ingrassia, Massimo Vanni, Giuseppe Pambieri, etc. It will be possible to meet them and purchase signed copies of their works. There will also be space for those private individuals who wish to sell or exchange vinyl records, even rare and precious ones, making use of the support and professionalism of the exhibitors present.
