Montflorit take a step forward with “Caiguda lliure”

Montflorit publishes “Caiguda lliure”, the first and only preview of their second album, which will be released in November 2026. The single has appeared under the label Dungeon Study. After publishing their first LP in 2025, the trio returns with a powerful song that is at the same time abundant in tenderness, maintaining its identity stamp and adding new resources to its sound spectrum.

“Caiguda lliure”, recorded and mixed in the studio of Cerdanyola Wheel Sound Studiodescribes the beginning of a farewell as inevitable as the gravitational force. Montflorit focuses on what is part of everyday life. Everything that is integrated into everyday life and that has immeasurable value, but that can sometimes go unnoticed until it disappears.

Montflorit, a trio established in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona) that takes its name from one of its neighborhoods, consolidated its formation with its first LP, “Encara hi ha tant per fer”(2025). After a tour of eleven concerts in Japan last year, they are now preparing their second work, “Only the one that ends is forever”a tribute album to the Catalan underground scene. Their sound mixes alternative rock with touches of indie-pop, punk and touches of drum and bass.

The band will present the new album in concert on December 3 at the Vol Room from Barcelona.
