Mondo Sonoro Noroeste celebrates its third anniversary

The edition Northwest of Sound World –intended to cover the musical activity of Castilla y León and Galicia–, came back to life in October 2023, after being missing, in the aforementioned communities, for almost three years. Since then, and on a monthly basis, their corresponding issues have been released, with the main purpose of giving visibility to emerging groups in the area through interviews and album reviews: almost 150 interviews and more than 320 albums reviewed. It is worth remembering that Mondo Sonoro is a free magazine that readers can find in stores that decide to support the publication (and thus the local scene itself) by advertising in it.

With the newly published October issue Mondo Sonoro Northwest celebrates three years of life, an anniversary that will be celebrated with a party on Saturday October 24 starting at 9 p.m. in the Avalon Cafe of Zamorawith the concert of the Vigo combo The Martianswho are about to release their new album, “Journey back” (26), in which he himself participates Ivan Ferreirospecifically in the song “The Night of the Long Knives” which can now be heard on all platforms. The evening will be completed with the session behind the dishes PigManStar (DJ).

Admission is free until capacity is reached and the event is sponsored by Caja Rural de Zamora Foundation; the creative office collaborates Cease-fire and co-organizes his own Avalon Cafe.
