Milan for Gaber, the program

The nineteenth edition of “Milano per Gaber” kicks off on Wednesday 10 June at the Piccolo Teatro Grassi, the series of shows and meetings with which the Giorgio Gaber Foundation offers the vast musical and theatrical repertoire of Mr. G. and the relevance of his thought to the public of enthusiasts and to the new generations.

«We are at the nineteenth edition of Milan for Gaber, an event that has always taken place at the Piccolo Teatro, a particularly significant place for Giorgio Gaber and for the birth of the Teatro Canzone. We are pleased that this continuity is renewed year after year, a sign that Gaber’s memory is still alive and that the proposed initiatives continue to arouse great interest in the public. This year too, the program alternates moments of artistic and theatrical study with meetings with protagonists of music and entertainment, with the aim of offering new opportunities for knowledge and reflection around Gaber’s work. From the presence of Davide Calabrese and Lorenzo Scuda (Oblivion) to the meetings with Paolo Kessisoglu, Gioele Dix, Levante and Brunori Sas, up to the appointments dedicated to Umberto Simonetta and Enzo Iacchetti, the program offers different points of view but united by the desire to keep alive the dialogue with the thought and cultural heritage of Giorgio Gaber, also involving the younger audience”
