Mickey’s tribute to Franco Battiato

Four years after Franco Battiato’s disappearance, he passed away on May 18, 2021, Mouse has decided to make gift to the great master from Catania with one special cover. The historic comic magazine published by Panini starring the Disney characters, has reserved a surprise to its Catania readers by dedicating the Special Cover of the number 3627 in Battiato.

The exit, available exclusively and in limited edition for the Etna Comics 2025, is characterized by an illustration made by Alessandro Pastrovicchio who reinterprets the cover of the historic album of Battiato from 1981, “The Master’s voice”, starring Pippo instead of the musician.

As announced on Etna Comics’s officials, the number of Mickey Mouse with the celebratory cover dedicated to Franco Battiato will be available from 30 May to 2 June exclusively at the Fair At the Panini Comics Italia stand in #areacomics. From the June 5 will then be available in the comic books and on the Panini.it website.
