Mick Jagger irons one of his t-shirts from 1972 and… the video
If this year you don’t know what to give to friends and relatives for Christmas, the rockiest rocker of all has thought of you, Mick Jagger. The 81-year-old frontman of Rolling Stones has published a short video on his social channels in which he can be seen busy, complete with an iron, ironing some clothes, all to advertise his line of products – not exactly cheap, it must be said – which include the reproduction of the historic t-shirt with the writing “Palace Laundry” that Mick wore in an image over fifty years old, but also a jacket, a key ring, a cap and – why not? – a harmonica and other branded objects Mick Jagger.
There was mention of a photograph and a t-shirt, this is his story. In 1972, the photographer Jim Marshall on behalf of Life magazine had unlimited access to the Rolling Stones. The end result was a series of photos of the band during the album’s recording sessions “Exile on Main St.” (read the review here), Marshall didn’t limit himself to those and also took some portraits, among the best known, that of Mick Jagger with the “Palace Laundry” baseball shirt.
