Michael Stipe and Jon Bon Jovi sing “The One I Love”
Last night Michael Stipe he was joined on stage by Jon Bon Jovi to sing a version of the classic dei REM “The One I Love” during a demonstration in support of the Democratic Party held at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta (Georgia) in view of the upcoming American presidential elections which pit the Republican candidate and former President of the United States Donald Trump and the current Democratic candidate for vice president of the United States Kamala Harris.
Previously, Michael Stipe had also performed

. Before proposing the song the former singer of
REM
– which much was spent in this election round to support
Kamala Harris
– from the stage he invited people not to miss the opportunity to go and vote: “Thank you for being here and thank you all for voting or for preparing to vote. I want to encourage everyone in Georgia because we know how much it means. We know what it means, take every single person in your community, in your church, in your skate club, or whatever it is, get them out, talk to them, get them to vote.”
