Metro Boomin sued for alleged rape
Metro Boomin was accused of rape and a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre filed a lawsuit against the well-known hip-hop producer.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, LeMaistre claims to have met Leland Wayne (this is the real name of the 31-year-old American producer) in 2016 in Las Vegas, while she was mourning the death of her 9-month-old son and he invited her to his studio in Los Angeles, where she saw him abusing codeine.
Months later, in September, she went to see him in his office and took half a pill of Xanax and a small glass of alcohol to deal with the loss of her son. The woman claims she passed out and regained consciousness in a bed with Wayne on top of her, who raped her and performed oral sex on her. He informed her that they were in a Beverly Hills hotel room and that it was time to leave.
LeMaistre later discovered she was pregnant, knowing it was Wayne’s because she hadn’t had sex with anyone else. She terminated the pregnancy in November 2016. She also believes that “Rap Saved Me” – Metro Boomin’s collaboration with 21 Savage, Offset And Quavo – tease her with the lyrics “She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I’m from the gutter … ain’t no changing” (“Took a Xanny / Then she passed out / I’m from the slums… there’s no change“).
LeMaistre is seeking unspecified damages for pain and mental anguish, as well as punitive damages.
