“Megadeth: Behind The Mask” hits theaters in January

Megadeth arrive at the cinema with “Megadeth: Behind The Mask”, in Italian cinemas on 22, 23 and 24 January 2026 to celebrate the band’s new studio album due out on 23 January: the film will be screened in over 1,000 cinemas in more than 35 countries and tickets will be available from Thursday 11 December at 3pm, the date on which the official trailer will also be released.

“Megadeth: Behind The Mask” Dave Mustaine retraces four decades of the band’s history, with unpublished stories, creative backstories and personal reflections. Audiences will be able to witness the world premiere of MEGADETH’s new self-titled album in its entirety, enriched by a retrospective interview spanning 40 years of their career and Mustaine’s track-by-track reflections on his latest studio album. Distributed worldwide by Trafalgar Releasing, the film is distributed exclusively for Italy by Nexo Studios with BLKIIBLK and MC² Live.

MEGADETH will be in concert in Italy for a single event to be held on Sunday 14 June 2026 at the Ferrara Summer Festival, where they will be headlining an event that will also see on the bill Anthrax, Black Label Society, Cavalera (playing Chaos AD), Gaerea And Game Over.
