Medalla publish “Arquitectura del Caos – Vol. I”, their first EP in nine years

Medalla publish their first EP in nine years of career, “Architecture of Chaos – Vol. I”in which they explore new compositions within their personal sound, somewhere between metal and psychedelic rock. The release comes a year after their fifth album “Machine Music” (2025). The songs on the EP were composed and recorded at the same time as that album, but they expand their sound register towards experimentation, with pieces such as “Modo Diablo”, “Pesadilla I” and “Pesadilla II”, a song divided into two parts.

The launch is accompanied by a short film that doubles as a triple video clip, directed by Catalan artists Lidia Arruego and Joan Castelló, which recreates the biblical myth of Cain and Abel and mixes genres such as dark fantasy, B movies or mysticism.

The EP is published under the label self-managed by the band itself, Dungeon Study. The graphic section is carried out by the Madrid artist Tumulus Designwith a cover influenced by the world of video games, while the production, recording and mixing have been carried out by Sergio Pérez García (SVPER)
