May 1st concert: they lead Noemi, Ermal Meta and Bigmama

Tonight, Tuesday 8 April, TG3 (live from 19.00) will officially start the countdown for the May 1st concert in Rome, promoted by CGIL, CISL, UIL, hosting the presenters of this year: Noemi, Ermal Meta and Bigmama. The three artists return to the concert of Concertone after the experience of the last edition.

The concert in Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome will always be free to access and will be broadcast live on Rai 3 and Rai Radio 2 and broadcast on Raiplay and Rai Italia.

With the concept “The future sounds today”, the event intercepts the most authentic voices of the Italian music scene, restoring a sound fresco that embraces the present in all its facets. In an era in which the public feels the need to deepen, understand and connect, music becomes a vehicle for stories and messages. For this, the songwriter returns to the protagonist: the words count, the texts become central, they tell generations in continuous transformation. Different genres intertwine, creating a sound mosaic that reflects Italy of today: the pop that tells who we are, the author’s rock, the conscious urban, the electronics that is not afraid to dare.

1mnext is underway, the contest dedicated to the search for new artists, organized by Icompany, which every year brings the 3 winners to the concert stage. The first phase was closed through which 150 emerging artists from all over Italy were selected. The artists who access the next phase will be communicated within this week. In the final selection, the only quality jury will have the task of choosing the 3 winning artists of 1mnext 2025 who will be invited to perform on the stage of the concert on May 1, 2025. The absolute winner of the contest will finally be proclaimed and awarded during the concert. Last year he was won by Giglio, a singer -songwriter from Turin, with the song “Santa Rosalia”.
