Maurizio Marsico and Stefano Di Trapani: here is “Lunadimare”

As an aperitif of “Sea Songs – Music for Hotels Vol. 3”, 2 CDs edited by Vittore Baroni and a 24-page booklet laid out by Reg Mastice to be released on 25 June by 13/Silentes, with 31 tracks dedicated to the sea specially recorded by as many international artists, it is possible to view from today on YouTube and on the label’s website the official video of “Lunadimare” by MarsicoDiTrapani in 2 different versions, as antithetical as they are complementary:

1 – the version Falsely True of “Lunadimare” (3’48”) by Stefano Di Trapani – Maurizio Marsico – Mauro Tondini

The text of the song adapts a poem written by Stefano when he was eight years old, the music was composed by the three performers: a catchphrase, or rather a torment of midsummer, with subliminal quotes from Ricchi e Poveri, Battiato and Righeira.

2 – the version Authentically False of “Montodthesea” (3’01”) by Stefano Di Trapani – Maurizio Marsico – Mauro Tondini

The same words and the same original music but reworked by Artificial Intelligence: plastic orchestration, anonymous voice, perfect choirs and mixes as they should, with the voice “outside” and the words that can be understood well.
