Matteo Becucci, new album and collaboration with Sergio Caputo

Matteo Becucci, winner of The album has already been anticipated by some singles: “Cubana balera”, “Black Friday” and “Bambini” (the latter features the participation of the actor and television presenter Paolo Ruffini). The production of the album was handled by Ugo Bongianni, Mina’s regular collaborator. In one of the songs on the album, “Crema e caffè”, Becucci boasts the extraordinary participation of singer-songwriter Sergio Caputo.

«This song has enormous human and artistic value for me. I wrote it thinking about Sergio Caputo, an extraordinary musician and great friend. I started my professional career thanks to him in the early 90s and we have remained close over time. When I made him listen to the song, with a bit of fear, he gave me valuable advice and participated in the recording with voice and guitar. A gift for which I am deeply grateful.”

The album will be presented live on Saturday 31 January at 9pm in Cecina Mare (Livorno) with on stage, together with Becucci, Matteo Giovannelli on piano, Noemi Gaglio on cajon, flute and choirs and Franco Ceccanti on guitars.
