Martin Barre: live in Italy and autobiography for the former Jethro Tull

The former guitarist of Jethro Tull, Martin Barreon November 6th he will publish an autobiography entitled “A Trick of The Memory: The Autobiography Of Jethro Tull’s Guitarist”.

Martin Barre he was the guitarist of Jethro Tull from 1968 to 2012. In “A Trick of The Memory: The Autobiography Of Jethro Tull’s Guitarist,” the 78-year-old Brit offers candid reflections on life on the road, the highs and lows of the music industry, and the creativity behind some of rock’s most memorable moments.

The book, which has a hard cover, traces his musical journey from his beginnings in Birmingham, when he played flute and saxophone before discovering the beauties of the guitar, through tours and albums with Jethro Tull, the volume also includes 16 pages of color photographs. “The story of Martin Barre’s musical journey, from his early days in Birmingham to his global success with Jethro Tull and as a solo artist, is something we’ve long awaited,” he says Pat Kentfounder of Jethro Tull Group on Facebook.

Barre is still in full swing. He will be touring the UK with the show in November “An Acoustic Evening With Martin Barre And Friends”while in April he will bring the show “A Brief History Of Tull” around Europe. With him on stage there will be the band that has accompanied him for years: Alan Thomson on the bass, Terl Bryant to the battery e Dan Crisp to the voice. There are three events dedicated to Italy: December 4th Theater on the Corso of Mestre (Ve), on the 5th CTM Theatre of Rezzato (Bs) and, finally, on 6 December at Tirinnanzi Theatre of Legnano (Milan).
