Marracash: the book “Something to believe in” comes out on November 25th
The Marracash trilogy it is not only one of the most significant recording events of rap and Italian music in general. But it is also “Something to believe in”, title of the volume released on November 25th for the Rizzoli-Lizard series (pp. 192, euro 35.00) in bookshops and online stores. “Persona” of 2019, “We, them, the others” of 2021 and “Peace is over” of 2024 these are the stages through which the Barona rapper has delved into himself and into society, building something unique and personal that has the ability to lead the public to question themselves in an unprecedented way about their own identity and the value of choices.
In this volume Marracash, together with Rockol journalist Claudio Cabona, dissects these three manifesto recordsfor the first time in a total way: the sound finds space within the pages of the book, with in-depth analysis by the producers Marz and Zef, the anecdotes, the visions, the wounds, the ideas and the profound values which animated the genesis of the albums, in addition to the mega-tours linked to each chapter and the legacy that this triad has left to the new generations. The preface is by the rapper’s manager Paola Zukar.
