Marillion, a concert in Italy next summer

THE Marillion they return to perform in Italy. They will be in our country on July 25, 2026 atAmphitheater of the Pompeii excavations as part of the third edition of BOP • Beats of Pompeii. More: The entire concert will be filmed and will become an official album and a Blu-ray movie that will include the best of the show.

The British band has over forty years of career behind them, their latest album, “An Hour Before It’s Dark” (read the review here), was published in 2022.

Regarding the live dimension of their artistic activity, the singer Steve Hogarth he says: “The concert is my favorite aspect of my job. The possibility of sharing a state of mind with those who understand my words and, consequently, me too, even when they don’t know English. Fans are so connected to our music that before concerts they read and delve into the words: few artists can boast such a personal relationship with their audience. I have had the privilege of playing in front of 80,000 people but also in front of 200 and I have appreciated it in the same way”.
