After being at the center of controversy, which saw her first accused of harassment and insults by some members of her team and dance troupe, and then inundated with mocking messages, last night Lizzo shared a long message on Instagram in which he even seems to hint that he wants to retire from the world of music, or at least take a break.

“I'm tired of having to put up with everything being said about me, both in my life and on the internet. All I want to do is music, make people happy, and help the world be a better place than I found it. But now I'm starting to think that the world doesn't want me”, wrote the singer:

“I am constantly grappling with the lies that are told about me about my weight and my opinions. Every time I am the target of ridicule for my physical appearance. I get picked on by people who don't know me and disrespect me. This is not the world I want to be in. Enough, I'm giving up everything!”.
