Like Ozzy Osbourne, she prepares for the Black Sabbath live
Ozzy Osbourne He is doing everything possible to prepare for the last concert of the BLack Sabbaththe “Back to the Beginning” to be held on 5 July at the Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
In recent years, the iconic 76 -year -old Frontman has had to face a series of health problems, including multiple interventions on the spine (due to two unfortunate domestic accidents) and a battle in progress against Parkinson’s disease.
Ozzy was unable to perform at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony of 2024, when he has been inserted as a solo artist and now many wonder if he will be able to manage the Black Sabbath’s farewell concert for which the singer has already announced that his performance will be limited.
However, in a recent conversation with The Guardian, Osbourne told of the preparation he is facing to return to the stage.
“I give weight, I go by bicycle, I have a boy, a personal trainer, who lives in my house and who works with me,” revealed the frontman. “It is hard, I have been to rest and inactive for a long time. I have been lying on the back without doing anything and the first thing that fails is the strength. It is like starting all over again.” “I have problems walking – he continues – I also have pressure problems, because of blood clots on the legs. I am used to staying two hours on stage, to jump and run. I don’t think this time I will jump or run a lot. Maybe I will be sitting sitting, but the point is that I will be there and I will do my best. So everything I can do is present to me”.
Ozzy then in addition to solving her physical problems also thinks about the vocal aspect. “I have a vocal coach that comes four days a week to keep my voice,” he explains.
The last concert of the Black Sabbath, entitled Back to the Beginning, will be a celebration of the incredible career and inheritance of the Caposcuola group of Metal. This is not a single concert, but of a whole day that will see on stage, under the artistic direction of Tom Morellothe bands and artists close to the history of Black Sabbath. The long list of guests includes Guns n ‘Roses, Metal, Slayer, Panther, Tool, Anthrax And many others. Obviously, the gathered Sabbath will be the main attraction, even if they only offer a reduced set.
“We will only play a couple of songs each. I don’t want people to think: ‘They are cheating on it’, why will it be alone … how do you say? … a” champion “,” observed Osbourne. “There will be some songs by Ozzy and Sabbath”.
