This year’s edition of the festival will take place from 26 to 30 June. Beyond this, at the moment, there is no official communication from the organizers.

For now the Glastonbury 2024 line-up has not yet been announced, although various rumors are circulating. Already in March last year, the organizer Emily Eavis had announced that Glastonbury had booked one of two female headliners scheduled for 2024 anticipating that both will perform at the festival for the first time. Predictions include Madonna, Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Spice Girls and Cher. Usually the full line-up is announced about a month before the festival starts.

Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 went on sale in November and coach and access packages sold out in 25 minutes , with general ticket sales selling out in just under an hour. For those who have been unable to obtain coupons, there is a second opportunity to relist tickets for which the original purchasers have not paid the full balance by the cut-off date at the beginning of April. This availability will take place towards the end of April.

As for Gallagher and Squire, it is not known which Glastonbury stage the duo will perform on and it has not yet been said which day the set will take place. Fans certainly shouldn’t expect to hear any songs from Oasis or the Stone Roses, as Gallagher recently told Radio X that their upcoming live shows will only feature their joint album and “maybe a few covers”.

Before the announced participation in the British festival Liam Gallagher and John Squire will arrive in Italy for a single concert scheduled for 6 April 2024 at the Fabrique in Milan.

The news that the two Britpop stars will perform at that festival comes ahead of the release of a collaborative album due on March 1 – a project which Gallagher described as “the best record since ‘Revolver'”.

The joint project came about when the pair joined forces after Squire took to the stage with Gallagher to perform Oasis’ “Champagne Supernova” at his two sold out Knebworth shows in 2022.

While waiting for the album’s release, the duo shared their debut track “Just Another Rainbow”, the video for their latest single, “Mars To Liverpool” and details of an upcoming tour, which quickly sold out.

As for what the new album will sound like, Gallagher described the project as ideal for any fan of the ’90s Manchester indie scene. “I can’t wait for people to hear the album,” she said. “I think people who like Stone Roses and Oasis and stuff like that are going to bloody love it. It’s spiritual, it’s crucial.”

Squire also spoke about the finished product, saying: “I like how in some parts it’s quite melancholic and can make you feel good, but there are other parts that are quite irreverent or rude or crude. There’s a little bit of everything in there, I think it’s a really good mix. I had a feeling we would play well together, but I wasn’t prepared for something this good.”

In other Liam Gallagher and John Squire news, just last month the former revealed that Squire has already begun writing material for a second collaborative album. Lim told the Guardian. “Squire has so much more to him. People see John as a guitar hero, but he sure knows how to write a fucking song.”

In addition to a possible participation in Glastonbury with Squire, this summer Liam Gallagher will also be involved in a series of solo tour dates, where he will play the entire Oasis album “Definitely Maybe” to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Dates include headlining slots in Reading & Leeds, alongside Lana Del Rey, Blink-182 and Fred Again.. – visit here for remaining tickets to his solo shows.
