Lady Gaga cancels concert: “I have a respiratory infection”
Nothing to do for the Montreal public: Lady Gaga had to cancel his third and final concert in Quebec due to worsening a respiratory infection“on the advice of your doctor”. The artist had already performed two other dates at the Center Bell on April 2 and 3, while the world tour will end on April 13 with a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The artist – via Instagram story – wanted to leave a message to the fans who had the ticket, a few hours before the show on April 6: “Hello everyone. I’m very sorry to have to inform you that I won’t be able to perform tonight and I have to cancel the show. I’ve been fighting a respiratory infection for a few days and I’m doing everything I can to rest and recover, but the situation has gotten worse. My doctor has strongly advised me against performing today and, to tell the truth, I don’t think I can offer you the quality of a performance you deserve.”
I know how disappointing this news is and I’m so sorry I let you down. I apologize to everyone who had planned to come and support me. Being in Montreal and performing for you on Thursday and Friday was magical and deeply meaningful. To everyone who was supposed to come tonight, I am deeply saddened and very sorry.
