Lacrim and Baby Gang join forces on “Rock”

Tearsone of the most appreciated voices of French rap, looks to Italy with “Rock”, the new single in collaboration with Baby Gang, the rapper from our country most listened to abroad. A dark and powerful song, which drags the listener into the street, describing an existence divided between life or death choices, weapons, drugs and loyalty. With a punchy chorus and intense verses, “Rock” releases energy and frankness, showing the harshness of the worlds from which the two artists comeapparently different, but in reality very similar, and the strength that made them reference figures of contemporary street rap. The piece focuses on the theme of being sculptors of one’s own destiny.

Lacrim tackles themes of loyalty, success and the weight of betrayal, while Baby Gang offers a gritty tale of paranoia, loss and survival. Lacrim returns to collaborate with the Italian scene after his participation, last July, in the Altraonda Festival in Genoa, where he projected some footage taken in the studio on the big screens, spoiling his collaboration with various artists – including Guè, Luchè, Nucky Savage, Emis Killa, Ghali, Noyz, Geolier, Emma Marrone and Baby Gang – and at Red Bull 64 Bars, where he was the protagonist of the first international episode in French. With a hip hop freestyle with a Moroccan feel, on a beat signed by Geolier producer Dat Boi Dee, Lacrim confirmed his ability to blend truth, culture and identity in a direct style.
