Korn: “Freak on a leash” live with Amy Lee of Evanescence
Last October 5th, at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Korn performed a special concert to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the release of their eponym 1994 debut album. The evening featured the participation of numerous guests, who followed one another on stage before the main set by Jonathan Davis and his associates, including Evanescence, Gojira, Scars On Broadway, Spiritbox and others.
To close the evening, Korn also invited the frontwoman of the “Bring me to life” band, Amy Leeto perform their most famous song together, “Freak on a leash” from the third studio album “Follow the leader” in 1998.
A few months ago, while Davis and his companions are busy on tour overseas, which a few weeks ago saw them play the song “Hey daddy” for the first time in 25 years, the guitarist of the American band Brian Welch had promised the arrival of new material after the album “Requiem” (read the review here) released in February 2022. Last March Welch said: “I can only say that we are working with passion and intensity on new music. We’re a little behind. We worked in depth on sounds, tones, recording and miking techniques, and we put a lot of focus on every aspect of the recording and the sound levels of everything“.
