The great Swedish lords of melancholy, i Katatoniathey have a tour going on as headliners in Europe and the United Kingdom, featuring special guests Evergrey (also Swedes, from Gothenburg) and the Italians – from Carpi – Klogr.

Kicking off on November 11th in Tampere, Finland, the tour will hit 31 cities in total and culminates with a grand finale in Stockholm, Sweden on December 20th.

The Italian date will be held atAlcatraz of Milan The November 27, 2025.

Katatonia were born in Stockholm in 1991 and made their debut two years later with the album “Dance of December Souls”. That album and the subsequent “Brave Murder Day” in 1996 helped to redraw the boundaries of the death doom metal genre.

But already from the third album Katatonia’s music moves towards other, more gothic sounds until it reaches a current combination of progressive and death metal enriched with electronics.

In 2023 they publish “Sky Void of Stars” their twelfth studio album, garnering good acclaim. The album And the first work published with the Napalm Records label.

Since its release “Sky Void of Stars”, performed well in several charts including those of Rock Hard and Legacy Magazine in Germany.
