John Lee Hooker: the album “Boom Boom” reprinted in vinyl
The Bluesman album will be republished next July 25th John Lee Hooker “Boom Boom”. Originally published in 1992, in the Hooker album he reinterprets his best known songs. The audio was obtained from the original masters for the creation of the lacquers for the first distribution of the album on vinyl. The album will also be available on CD with two bonus tracks.
Registered at the Russian Hill Recording in San Francisco and the Record Plant in Sausalito,
“Boom Boom”
sees Hooker, at the time 75 years old, to revisit classics like
“Boom Boom”
And
“Bottle up and Go”
. Big names of the blues were collaborated on the album such as
Jimmie Vaughan, Robert Cray, Albert Collins
And
Charlie Musselwhite
.

John Lee Hooker
Over time one of the real superstars of the Blues genre has remained. The Bluesman originally from the state of Mississippi died in 2001 at the age of 83.
