Joe Jackson: a new album and three concerts in Italy

Joe Jackson next May he will kick off an international tour consisting of 80 dates with a series of concerts first in North America, and then in Europe. Including three live shows in our country: al Duse Theater in Bologna on November 11th, atAuditorium Parco della Musica in Rome the following day, November 12, and finally to Lyric Theater of Milan on November 14, 2026.

But before embarking on that intense live activity, the 71-year-old British musician will release his first rock album since 2019, when he released “Fool” (read the review here). The new album is titled “Hope and Fury” and will reach the market on April 10, 2026. It will be distributed in three formats: compact disc, 180g vinyl and digital.

The latest album Joe Jackson, “What a Racket!” of 2023, was dedicated to music hall sounds and was recorded with the accompaniment of a 12-piece orchestra. Recently speaking to British magazine Chap about the importance of music in his life, he said, “I always knew that music would be my passion for life. So every now and then I do something different, to keep myself interested.”

“Hope and Fury” was recorded in Berlin and New York, co-produced by Jackson himself together with Patrick Dillettand features the bassist Graham Mabyof the guitarist Teddy Kumpel and the drummer Doug Yowell.
