Jet, new music after 15 years
The return of the Jet is now imminent. At the end of September the Australian band (read our interview here) will perform in concert in Italyin Milan and Rome, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the release of “Get Born” (read the review here), their debut album dated 2003. Now the group has released the new song “Hurry Hurry” which marks their first new material in 15 years, along with the B-side “An adventure” Of Lucio Battisti.
Both tracks were included on a limited edition 7″ vinyl single that sold out at Jet’s shows in Australia earlier this year. A second exclusive run of just 200 copies (numbered 301-500) will be available for sale at Jet’s live shows in Italy, the UK and the US. As with the Australian 7″, only 20 numbered copies will be sold at the merch stand each night of the tour. And for those who can’t get their hands on one, a second batch will be available at select retailers and will be available to pre-order online at impressedrecordings.com from Friday 6th September.

We’ve performed ‘Hurry Hurry’ live and had a great response from our fans in Australia, we can’t wait to perform it live at our overseas shows in Italy, the UK and the US.”
“Hurry Hurry” It was produced by Fabio Senna and recorded at Black Star Studio Milan, Fish Factory London, Edac Studio Como and Milk Bar Studios Melbourne and boasts the participation of some Italian musicians: Sergio Carnevale, Adriano Viterbini, Daniel Plentz And Raphael Scogna. In “An Adventure” the wind session is Italian and was recorded by Thomas Colliva.
