Jean Michel Jarre, performance in Venice and Pompeii
Jean-Michel Jarrepioneer of electronic music, arrives in Italy in July for two performances hosted respectively in Piazza San Marco in Venice (3 July) and in the Amphitheater of the Scavi di Pompeii (5 July).
Famous for his spectacular shows of sounds and lights, Jarre has beaten a turnout record with epic concerts in iconic places: 1 million people in Place de la Concorde, 1.3 million in Houston, 2.5 million in La Défense and 3.5 million in Moscow. Has trod the stage of important international festivals, such as Coachella (USA)and marked a historical goal with his Virtual New Year’s concert 2021followed by beyond 75 million spectators in a spectacular Digital Notre-Dame.
In the 2024 Jarre inaugurated it Starmus Festival in Bratislavagathering over 120,000 spectators with “Bridge from the Future“a show taken from 17 cameras and dronestransmitted live on a global level. The July 14thfor the first time, participated in the Forty edition of the Francopholies to La Rochelle. In September he was the protagonist of the Closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 gamesperforming in front of 80,000 people at the Stade de France.
