In “Nuje” Gigi D’Alessio sings about real life

The new album will be released on November 28th Gigi D’Alessio, “Nuje” ((GGD Edizioni Srl/Columbia Records/Sony Music). The album will be available in digital and CD formats and, from 19 December, also on vinyl, with signed editions of the CD and LP formats purchasable on the Sony Music Store and on the artist’s official website. The album, produced by Gigi D’Alessio together with Adriano Pennino, Max D’Ambra And Kekko D’Alessiois composed of thirteen songs that talk about us or, if you prefer, said in Neapolitan, “Nuje”. A title, as explained in the press conference to present the album this morning, which means “Real life, our stories, love for life, love for oneself in a time dominated by social media that show a false life. We should use social media and they are the ones who use us.”

The only featurings on the album are those of Khaled And Jovanotti in “Diamonds and Gold”. Lorenzo’s collaboration was not foreseen, says Gigi, admired by his colleague’s availability: “There was only supposed to be Khaled’s feat. Then I thought that Jovanotti would also be good. So I sent him a message that it must have been midnight. At half past eight the following morning he had already sent me the lyrics and a vocal where he sang”.

The album will also be presented to fans in four in-store events that follow this calendar:

To the realization of “Nuje” they collaborated Vincenzo D’Agostino for the lyrics, the guitars were seen at work Michael Thompson, Maurizio Fiordiliso, Maurizio Pica And Daniele Bonavirion the bass Cesare Chiodo And Robert D’Aquino. The string arrangements, written and conducted by Adriano Penninowere recorded at AIR Studios in London by Haydn Bendall And Roberto Rosuwho also took care of the mix and recording at the Life Studio in Rome. The mastering is signed by Steve Fallone at Sterling Sound New York and some tracks were mixed and mastered by Gigi Barocco in Studio 104 in Milan.
