In Annalisa’s new album there is a feat with Paolo Santo

Many, to the reading of the tracklist of the new album of Annalisa “But I am fire”, out on October 10th, asked themselves: but who is Paolo Santo? It is the second feat of the project, after the one with Marco Mengoni in “Piazza San Marco”, a single already published. Paolo Santo, pseudonym of Paolo Antonacci, is the son and nephew of art of two big names much loved by the public, namely Biagio Antonacci and Gianni Morandi. He built his career as an author. He signed songs that climbed the Italian rankings and obtained numerous awards, including over 60 platinum records. Among the most famous texts on which he also put his signature “Honestly” and “beautiful” by Annalisa, Emma’s “Apnea”, “La Dolce Vita” by Tananai with Fedez and Mara Sattei, and “I p ‘me, you p’ te” by Geolier.

His ability to combine pop sensitivity with deep texts made him one of the most requested authors of the contemporary Italian music scene. In 2024 he decided to test himself as a songwriter, choosing to present himself to the public with his pseudonym Paolo Santo to stand out from the surname Antonacci and build their own identity. His first single was “the golden age” with a production edited by Davide Simonetta, Bdope and Placido. Today it continues to work both as an author for other artists and, evidently, as a songwriter. His collaboration with Annalisa in the new album “But I am Fire” in the song “Poisoned” represents a bridge between his work as author of successes and that of singer.
