How Bruce Springsteen’s last concert of 2024 went

At the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band held their last concert of 2024. Despite health problems last year and vocal problems last May which forced the New Jearsy singer-songwriter to postponing some dates, including the Milanese ones at the San Siro Stadium, the Boss and his band then kept faith with most of the live commitments scheduled in the calendar. On November 22nd, at the Canadian arena, Springsteen and the E Street Band then greeted the audience during the last event of the year, before returning to the stages from next May 14th and making up for the postponed shows in the United Kingdom and Europe .

On the stage of the Rogers Arena, Bruce Springsteen did not betray his attitude by offering a concert of 31 songs together with the E Street Band, for over three hours and 20 minutes of music during which he spanned almost five decades of his career. In addition to drawing heavily from “Born to Run”, including six of the eight tracks from the landmark 1975 album, the setlist also included songs from 2020’s “Letter to You”. The show also saw Springsteen perform for the first time on the 2024 tour “Ramrod”, “Human Touch” and “Brilliant Disguise”. The evening closed with an acoustic version of “I’ll see you in my dreams”, dedicated by Bruce to a 101-year-old fan of his.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to tour next year, making up as promised for some dates postponed due to vocal problems suffered by the singer-songwriter a few months ago. After three dates in Manchester (14, 17 and 20 May), Springsteen and his historic group will stop in France for concerts in Lille (24 and 27 May) and Marseille (31 May). The tour will then return to the UK for shows in Liverpool (4 and 7 June), before hitting Berlin (11 June), Prague (15 June), Frankfurt (18 June), San Sebastian in Spain (21 and 24 June) , and Gelsenkirchen in Germany on June 27. The series of dates will close with the recovery of the two concerts by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at San Siro on 27 and 30 June 2025.
