The final ranking of the 2026 Sanremo Festival crowned Sal Da Vinci the winner. But a few hours before the final, Spotify’s Top 50 Italy tells a somewhat different story, redesigning the balance that emerged at Ariston. At the top of the streaming rankings we find “Obsession” by Samurai Jay (17th in Sanremo). A real turnaround: out of the top 10 of the Festival, first on Spotify. The audience on the platforms is rewarding the song far beyond the result obtained in the competition. In second place there is “I like you a lot” by Sayf (2nd in Sanremo). Here the digital ranking almost perfectly confirms Ariston’s verdict: the song remains firmly at the top even in streaming. Spotify closes the podium “Forever Yes” by Sal Da Vinci (1st in Sanremo).

Ninth position for “Before that” by nayt (6th in Sanremo), while Spotify closes the top 10 “Magical fairy tale” by Arisa (4th in Sanremo). The picture is clear: if at Ariston the vote is the result of juries, televoting and television dynamics, on Spotify only repeated listening decides. In short, the competition does not end with the announcement of the winner: it continues in the headphones. And there the ranking can change very quickly. Another reversal occurs in the general FIMI rankings where in the first position we find Fedez and Marco Masini, followed by Ditonellapiaga and Sayfan even different podium.
