Hardcore supergroup Fake Names begins stage with “Until It’s Normal”

“Punk Ruins”which will be released by Epitaph/(PIAS) on October 23, will be Fake Names’ third full-length. And who is behind that name? Well, in case you haven’t heard yet, we’ll tell you that the group is made up of guitarists right now. Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion) and Michael Hampton (SOA, Embrace, The Faith)the vocalist Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, INVSN)the bassist Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside) and the new drummer Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, OFF!).

The new album was recorded in the legendary studios Electrical Audio of Chicago and produced by Matthew Barnhardy (Superchunk, Bob Mold) and once again combines punk, hardcore, power pop and sounds of the British seventies.

The group began its journey in 2020 and continues to meet from time to time to take new recording and direct steps. His next tour will begin in January 2027 and will go through various countries, although there is no confirmed Spanish date. They will perform in Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and the United Kingdom.

“Punk Ruins” will include a total of twelve songs, the first of which is this “Until It’s Normal”.
