Green Day attacks Elon Musk in concert

THE Green Day they attacked Elon Musk during their first concert of the year at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. While singing their classic “American Idiot”the band’s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong he changed a part of the song’s lyrics to express his disagreement with the actions of Elon Musk.

Green Day who have never hidden their dislike for the new US Prime Minister.

Armstrong modified the phrase of “American Idiot”‘I’m not a part of a redneck agenda’ in ‘I’m not a part of the Elon agenda’. It is not the first time that the Californian group has modified this passage of the song. On December 31, 2023 they attacked Donald Trump and his motto Make America Great Again singing, “I’m not a part of the MAGA agenda”. ElonMusk teased the band by commenting on X: “Green Day goes from raging at the machine to sheepishly raging about this thing.”
