Goodbye to CJ Snare, the Firehouse singer was 64 years old

He died at the age of 64 CJ Snarefrontman of the American rock band dei FireHouse. The passing of the Washington native musician was disclosed via social media by his group: “Today is a sad day for Rock'n'Roll. It is with great sorrow that we let the world know that we have lost our brother: CJ Snare, the rock and roll warrior, lead singer and founding member of Firehouse. CJ passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday evening, April 5, 2024. He was a young man of 64 years of age.” The band also noted how “Snare was expected to return to the stage with the band this summer after recovering from surgery.”

, explained with a message published on Facebook what the health problems were that led to her husband's death: “In September 2020, CJ was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. His initial prognosis was grim, but that didn't stop him. We asked for a second consultation in September 2021 and we proceeded with a life-saving operation that gave us these last years with him. Last spring he began having other problems and underwent another surgery in October 2023. This latest surgery left him very weak and unable to live a full life.”
