paid tribute to Ligertwood in a Facebook post. “To me, Alex, aka ‘Wee Eck,’ was simply the best singer ever. In all my years of music, I have never heard anyone who possessed that kind of vocal range or that effortless, carefree ability to soar into a melody. He didn’t just sing songs, he lived them. The world seems so much quieter today without his voice, and I will miss my friend more than words can express. The great orchestra in heaven has become infinitely better with Alex’s arrival.”
